Have you noticed how many people are still occupied by finding the perfect harmony between Life and Work? Like we were taught by our parents and grandparents: there is Work, and there is Life.

Today though, this vision starts to change considerably. Often, we consider – deep inside - that our Life is our Work and that our Work is our Life – it a whole. So, why continue separating them?

Perhaps, it should be more about finding the right balance in our daily endeavours and define moments for whatever inspires us. Live our Life as it pleases us, without wanting to separate or label what we do. Just do it, as long as it makes you grow and lets you live and create the Life you in adequation with your values and family.

And perhaps, instead of asking kids and young people, “What do you want to do” we’d ask, “Who do you want to be and how do you want to create your Life.” That might start changing the perception and free from beliefs that aren’t really aligned with many people’s lifestyles today.

Such a perception may avoid feeling guilty for loving our jobs and spending most of our time working or doing something related to our professions. It would be a great way to take away the pressure of thinking that “my life isn’t as it’s supposed to be”.

And it would even take away false beliefs for people who have decided to organize their time to spend less “real work” related hours to discover other spheres in Life.

Perhaps, it would free us from thinking that we have to fit in some category.

Perhaps, we could simply Live.
